CHECK IN FROM 1PM TO 9PM

Our manager will be waiting for you at your Rome apartment at the estimated time of your arrival and for one additional hour if necessary. You have to specify when exactly you will be arriving at the apartment in Rome. After reservation is made, you will receive the check-in and check-out manager's phone numbers and a some extra information on how to get into your dream apartment in Rome. If you're late, and we can't get in touch with you or you don't call or email the check-in manager in time, but only when you're at the apartment, and as a result of this, our staff has to show up twice, we'll need to a charge a convenience fee of 40 Euros in addition to any late check-in fees if applicable. This additional amount has to be paid in cash upon check-in.

CHECK OUT FROM 7AM TO 11AM

Where self-check-out is permitted: Self check out is easy. You lock the doors with the numeric keypad or throw the keys back to the apartment through the mail slot. Maintenance usually starts working on our apartments by 11:15 sharp, so if you plan to check out late, please let us know in advance.

Everywhere else: Please advise our management when exactly you will be leaving the apartment so you can hand over the keys. Failure to do so, and leave where self-check-out is not permitted will result in penalty of 150 Euros.

MINIMUM CHARGE REQUIREMENTS AT A FEW APARTMENTS

Please note, that some of our apartments require a minimum stay in a form of a minimum charge. In this case you'll see a message about this loud and clear in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS IN RED at the beginning and at the end of the reservation screen. It is important to know that our on-line reservation system is unable to charge this automatically, so your original confirmation will just show a deposit charge only for the number of days you chose, when it is less than what the minimum charge requires. We will manually update your Total Due and deposit amount the next day and send you an email confirmation. Please note that this is only applicable to a few properties.

EARLY/LATE CHECK-IN / EARLY/LATE CHECK-OUT POLICY

If you don’t plan to check-in or check-out in the time-frame provided, please advice us at least 72 hours after the booking is made. Early/Late check-in/check-out can be arranged for 39 Euros per occurrence if available by purchasing our ANYTIME CHECK IN or ANYTIME CHECK OUT service. If you check-in/check-out early or late and you don't have our ANYTIME CHECK IN/OUT service already paid for, we'll automatically charge 95 Euros as a penalty to your credit card on file. It’s always safer to buy our ANYTIME CHECK IN/OUT service and if you end up not using it, we’ll give you a full refund. As a courtesy, when we can predict an early/late check-in/out from your arrival details, we automatically add this service for you.

Hint: Guests arriving by car are usually 3-4 hours late, so if you plan to arrive at 8pm, it’s better to request late check-in to avoid penalties.

LATE CHECK-OUT

If you you are late with your check-out, our staff will come back in the time you tell her, and as you could read in our policies, you will be charged 95 EUR penalty for unnotified late check out. You do not have to pay in cash – this event will be documented and the amount will be charged on your credit card. (This is only possible if the apartment is not booked for that day.)

Unfortunately you cannot use the late check-out service as new guests are coming right after you, and we have to set the apartment to make it just as beautiful as it was when you arrived. However, If you wish, we can guard your luggage until you return for a cost of 50 EUR. Please tell our staff what time you wish to return to pick them up. You do not have to pay in cash – this event will be documented and the amount will be charged on your credit card.

CANCELLATION / NO SHOW

Cancellations are only accepted at least 5 days prior to arrival. If you paid in full with a credit card, we'll refund your money promptly, less 25%. If you only paid a deposit, we'll keep the deposit. If you don't show up at all, and don't advise us about canceling, we cannot refund your money, but we'll give you 15% discount on your next stay. For those properties, where only 25-50% advance was required, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card one day after your missed arrival.

PRIVATE AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICE

With this service you can really feel like a VIP. This is a special and convenient service for you and your family. Our driver will wait for you at the airport holding a sign with your name on it. We will load you baggage in the van and take you straight to the apartment, where we carry your baggage to the apartment as well. Our driver will give you the keys and answer any questions you may have.

PAYMENTS

We only require 25% advance on most reservations. The balance will be due in cash at the time of check in.

Please note, that a few special properties will require 50-100% credit card payment at the time of your reservation.

All credit card details must be submitted through our automated and secure on-line booking system or via fax.

Charges from us may appear as "VINCENT DEVILLE GROUP" or "POPCORN MOVIES LLC" on your credit card statement. Please note, that we are a US based company.

American Express card holders: We're unable charge in Euros to AmEx cardholders. If your payment gets rejected, please try another card, or choose the "Confirm Via Fax" option, and simply send us your card details via fax or email. We'll then convert the total chargeable to USD and process your card manually.

AMENITIES

Our vacation apartments are all fully equipped, and fully serviced. They all have abundant supply of linen, towels, slippers, soap and shampoo. We have a superb maid service that makes sure that our vacation rentals are clean when you check in, and if you happen to stay over a week or so, our maids will come every five days to make up the rooms, and make sure you have enough clean towels, sheets, and beauty supplies too. When checking in, please make sure that you find absolutely everything just the way your Rome apartment was advertised and in the listing or on this website in general. Should anything be missing at all, let us know, and we'll fix or replace everything in less than 24 hours.

WIRELESS INTERNET

Some apartments come equipped with standard wireless B or G router with cable or DSL internet connection. In this case the apartment listing will indicate that WiFi is available.

Others can be furnished with a Mobile Internet Key upon request that uses a mobile broadband connection. To make sure you have Internet ready from day one, please let us know in advance if you're willing to use the Mobile Internet service, so we can place an Internet key in the apartment for you.

CONCIERGE SERVICE

We are working very hard to provide an unparalleled hotel-like service for you. Our concierge service includes everything from arranging car rentals to booking a table at a nice restaurant for you. Our help-desk is there 24/7 in case there is an emergency, or like if you can't figure out how to turn the air conditioning off.

DAMAGES/LOST ITEMS

Our apartments in Rome are all private condos/flats richly equipped and well maintained to give you a home away from home feeling during your stay. As a courtesy to the next guest please try to leave the apartments in a better condition than you’ve found them. If something goes missing or brakes, please do let us know before or short after you checked in, so we can fix and replace those items. We take care of minor things, but we’ll need to charge your credit card for any major damages. If you fail to let us know about any damages or missing items, and we have to discover those, you’ll be subject to an additional 300 Euros processing and handling fee. In this case we’d have to bring witnesses and take photos, so it’s not only a cost but a lot of hassle for us. So please make sure you report any and all damages, missing items at check out.

SMOKING

Most of our apartments are non-smoking. Smoke not only ruins the odor of the apartment but furniture and carpets may be burned out and damaged by ash. Therefore we kindly ask you not to smoke in the apartments. Tempering with or disabling smoke detectors and other safety devices may constitute a serious offense punishable by criminal law.

NOISE

Please respect your neighbors by keeping the noise level down, and the surrounding of your apartment accommodation clean. We reserve the right of eviction with no refund in case there are repeated complaints from neighbors or if a police report is filed.

PRICE MATCHING / LOWEST RATE GUARANTEE

Terms and Conditions -- Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise If you book an accommodation on VacationRentalRome.Com and then find a lower rate for the same apartment, house or hotel for the same guests on another Web site, you may be entitled to a $50 coupon per reservation toward your next Vincent DeVille Properties purchase.

  • The fare must be at least $5 less per reservation than the rate purchased on VacationRentalRome.Com
  • The lower total rate may not include Web site service, booking, processing, shipping, paper-reservation or other fees
  • You must provide the complete Web address (URL) where you found the lower rate
  • You must file a claim by Midnight Central Time of the same day you booked your Vincent DeVille Properties accommodations
  • To submit a claim, send us an email with all the required details. Remember to make a printout or take a screen shot of the page with the lower rate, either the itinerary confirmation or the summary page just prior to purchase, in case a customer service representative has questions. Expect a response to your claim within 10 to 15 business days

Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise Terms and Conditions

  1. The Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise is available to any customer who makes a qualifying rate purchase through the VacationRentalRome.Com website. Qualifying purchase must occur at VacationRentalRome.com on/after January 1, 2007.
  2. The Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise applies only to accommodations purchased on VacationRentalRome.com for travel within Italy, and only for reservations purchased using a valid credit card with a United States or European Union billing address.
  3. The Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise applies only to the total rate and does not apply to differences based on service, booking, processing, shipping, paper-reservation and other fees not collected on the accommodation
  4. If you find a rate for the same accommodations and dates of travel of the same vacation rental, with the same address, for the same number of passengers, dates, room, and subject to the same fare restrictions on any other full service travel Web site or vacation rental site that is at least $5 lower than the rate you purchased on the same day on VacationRentalRome.Com, Vincent DeVille Properties will give you a coupon in the amount of $50 for every reservation in your Vincent DeVille Properties reservation, redeemable on your next VacationRentalRome.Com purchase
  5. To submit a claim, send us an email to rome@omg.travel. You will need to provide the following additional information:

    - Complete Web address (URL) reflecting the lower rate you found online

    - Total rate quoted on the other Web site for all reservations including taxes (but excluding web site service

  6. Your claim must be submitted by midnight US Central Time of the same day you purchased your reservation on VacationRentalRome.Com. Claims may be submitted only through admin@omg.travel. The Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise applies to lower rates of $5 or greater found on another full-service travel Web site or vacation rental Web site. The confirmed rate you purchased on VacationRentalRome.Com will be compared to the rate on the other site at the last point immediately prior to purchase. Fares must be compared with like fare restrictions, so for example, if an unrestricted rate is purchased on VacationRentalRome.Com, it will not qualify for the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise if compared to a restricted rate found on another Web site.
  7. The Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise does not apply to lower rates that are available on VacationRentalRome.Com or to refundable reservations that you choose to refund.
  8. Vincent DeVille Properties reserves the right to deny any claims that cannot be verified, or for which you have provided incomplete information.
  9. The Low Fare Promise does not apply to unpublished rates that are not available to the general public. Rates not available to the general public include, but are not limited to, corporate discount rates, government fares, military fares, meeting fares, wholesaler fares or consolidator fares.
  10. The Low Fare Promise does not apply to package fares, such as rates sold as part of a travel package.
  11. The Low Fare Promise does not apply to rates where the carrier or itinerary details are unknown until after purchase, nor does it apply to differences of less than $5 or to service, booking, processing, shipping, paper-reservation and other fees not charged on the accommodation.
  12. The Low Fare Promise does not apply to total rates on another Web site that have been reduced as a result of promotional discounts, such as dollars off coupons or loyalty program discounts.

    Verification of Claims and Coupon Redemption Following submission of a claim, the Vincent DeVille Properties Customer Service Team will contact you via e-mail. If we are unable to replicate the lower rate, we may request additional information and documentation (such as a screen shot) from you in order to verify the lower online rate. Please keep a copy of all such documentation.

  • Vincent DeVille Properties reserves the right to deny any claims that cannot be verified, or for which you have provided incomplete information.
  • Upon verification of the lower online rate, Vincent DeVille Properties will send you an E-mail Coupon ("EC") in an amount equal to $50 USD for each eligible reservation purchased as part of the same confirmed reservation on ApartmentsInBudapest.com. One EC will be issued per reservation to cover all travelers and is valid for a future purchase on VacationRentalRome.Com. You can expect to receive your EC via e-mail within 10-15 business days of verification of your claim.
  • ECs are valid toward future purchases of travel products booked on VacationRentalRome.com within one year of the EC issue date. To redeem an EC on a new purchase, the new purchase must equal or exceed the total amount of the EC. The EC amount will be refunded to the credit card used for payment on the new purchase. Extensions will not be permitted and ECs will not be replaced or reissued for any reason.
  • ECs are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable or assignable and may not be purchased or auctioned and any attempt to do so will result in the voiding of the EC. ECs have no cash
  • ECs will only be issued to the Vincent DeVille Properties customer under which the qualifying rate purchase was made.
  • The EC is the sole and exclusive compensation that will be provided for Vincent DeVille Properties’ failure to fulfill its Low Fare Promise.
  • If your qualifying purchase on VacationRentalRome.Com is for a refundable reservation and you later refund the reservation, any EC issued in connection with the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise as a result of your having submitted a claim based on finding a fare lower than the fare you paid on the refunded reservation will become void and invalid. If your qualifying purchase is canceled within 48 hours of purchase, your claim or any issued EC will not be valid.
  • To redeem your EC you will need to complete a new purchase on VacationRentalRome.Com as outlined above and send an e-mail to admin@omg.travel containing the following information about your new purchase:
    • Vincent DeVille Properties booking confirmation number (this is your 6-digit alpha-numeric Vincent DeVille Properties confirmation #) for the new product you purchased on VacationRentalRome.com
    • E-mail address you used to book a Vincent DeVille Properties accommodation.
    • EC code (this will be the EC code # we sent to you via e-mail)
    • Coupon amount. Void where prohibited by law. Vincent DeVille Properties reserves the right to modify or cancel the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise at any time without prior notice. Any modification will be effective upon posting of modified Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise Terms and Conditions on the ApartmentsInBudapest.com web site. Any cancellation will be effective upon removal of references to the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise and the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise Terms and Conditions from the ApartmentsInBudapest.com web site. If the Vincent DeVille Properties Low Fare Promise is canceled for any reason, the ECs issued will continue to be valid until their expiration date.
