Our manager will be waiting for you at your Rome apartment at the estimated time of your arrival and for one additional hour if necessary. You have to specify when exactly you will be arriving at the apartment in Rome. After reservation is made, you will receive the check-in and check-out manager's phone numbers and a some extra information on how to get into your dream apartment in Rome. If you're late, and we can't get in touch with you or you don't call or email the check-in manager in time, but only when you're at the apartment, and as a result of this, our staff has to show up twice, we'll need to a charge a convenience fee of 40 Euros in addition to any late check-in fees if applicable. This additional amount has to be paid in cash upon check-in.
Where self-check-out is permitted: Self check out is easy. You lock the doors with the numeric keypad or throw the keys back to the apartment through the mail slot. Maintenance usually starts working on our apartments by 11:15 sharp, so if you plan to check out late, please let us know in advance.
Everywhere else: Please advise our management when exactly you will be leaving the apartment so you can hand over the keys. Failure to do so, and leave where self-check-out is not permitted will result in penalty of 150 Euros.
Please note, that some of our apartments require a minimum stay in a form of a minimum charge. In this case you'll see a message about this loud and clear in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS IN RED at the beginning and at the end of the reservation screen. It is important to know that our on-line reservation system is unable to charge this automatically, so your original confirmation will just show a deposit charge only for the number of days you chose, when it is less than what the minimum charge requires. We will manually update your Total Due and deposit amount the next day and send you an email confirmation. Please note that this is only applicable to a few properties.
If you don’t plan to check-in or check-out in the time-frame provided, please advice us at least 72 hours after the booking is made. Early/Late check-in/check-out can be arranged for 39 Euros per occurrence if available by purchasing our ANYTIME CHECK IN or ANYTIME CHECK OUT service. If you check-in/check-out early or late and you don't have our ANYTIME CHECK IN/OUT service already paid for, we'll automatically charge 95 Euros as a penalty to your credit card on file. It’s always safer to buy our ANYTIME CHECK IN/OUT service and if you end up not using it, we’ll give you a full refund. As a courtesy, when we can predict an early/late check-in/out from your arrival details, we automatically add this service for you.
Hint: Guests arriving by car are usually 3-4 hours late, so if you plan to arrive at 8pm, it’s better to request late check-in to avoid penalties.
If you you are late with your check-out, our staff will come back in the time you tell her, and as you could read in our policies, you will be charged 95 EUR penalty for unnotified late check out. You do not have to pay in cash – this event will be documented and the amount will be charged on your credit card. (This is only possible if the apartment is not booked for that day.)
Unfortunately you cannot use the late check-out service as new guests are coming right after you, and we have to set the apartment to make it just as beautiful as it was when you arrived. However, If you wish, we can guard your luggage until you return for a cost of 50 EUR. Please tell our staff what time you wish to return to pick them up. You do not have to pay in cash – this event will be documented and the amount will be charged on your credit card.
Cancellations are only accepted at least 5 days prior to arrival. If you paid in full with a credit card, we'll refund your money promptly, less 25%. If you only paid a deposit, we'll keep the deposit. If you don't show up at all, and don't advise us about canceling, we cannot refund your money, but we'll give you 15% discount on your next stay. For those properties, where only 25-50% advance was required, the remaining balance will be charged to your credit card one day after your missed arrival.
With this service you can really feel like a VIP. This is a special and convenient service for you and your family. Our driver will wait for you at the airport holding a sign with your name on it. We will load you baggage in the van and take you straight to the apartment, where we carry your baggage to the apartment as well. Our driver will give you the keys and answer any questions you may have.
We only require 25% advance on most reservations. The balance will be due in cash at the time of check in.
Please note, that a few special properties will require 50-100% credit card payment at the time of your reservation.
All credit card details must be submitted through our automated and secure on-line booking system or via fax.
Charges from us may appear as "VINCENT DEVILLE GROUP" or "POPCORN MOVIES LLC" on your credit card statement. Please note, that we are a US based company.
American Express card holders: We're unable charge in Euros to AmEx cardholders. If your payment gets rejected, please try another card, or choose the "Confirm Via Fax" option, and simply send us your card details via fax or email. We'll then convert the total chargeable to USD and process your card manually.
Our vacation apartments are all fully equipped, and fully serviced. They all have abundant supply of linen, towels, slippers, soap and shampoo. We have a superb maid service that makes sure that our vacation rentals are clean when you check in, and if you happen to stay over a week or so, our maids will come every five days to make up the rooms, and make sure you have enough clean towels, sheets, and beauty supplies too. When checking in, please make sure that you find absolutely everything just the way your Rome apartment was advertised and in the listing or on this website in general. Should anything be missing at all, let us know, and we'll fix or replace everything in less than 24 hours.
Some apartments come equipped with standard wireless B or G router with cable or DSL internet connection. In this case the apartment listing will indicate that WiFi is available.
Others can be furnished with a Mobile Internet Key upon request that uses a mobile broadband connection. To make sure you have Internet ready from day one, please let us know in advance if you're willing to use the Mobile Internet service, so we can place an Internet key in the apartment for you.
We are working very hard to provide an unparalleled hotel-like service for you. Our concierge service includes everything from arranging car rentals to booking a table at a nice restaurant for you. Our help-desk is there 24/7 in case there is an emergency, or like if you can't figure out how to turn the air conditioning off.

Our apartments in Rome are all private condos/flats richly equipped and well maintained to give you a home away from home feeling during your stay. As a courtesy to the next guest please try to leave the apartments in a better condition than you’ve found them. If something goes missing or brakes, please do let us know before or short after you checked in, so we can fix and replace those items. We take care of minor things, but we’ll need to charge your credit card for any major damages. If you fail to let us know about any damages or missing items, and we have to discover those, you’ll be subject to an additional 300 Euros processing and handling fee. In this case we’d have to bring witnesses and take photos, so it’s not only a cost but a lot of hassle for us. So please make sure you report any and all damages, missing items at check out.
Most of our apartments are non-smoking. Smoke not only ruins the odor of the apartment but furniture and carpets may be burned out and damaged by ash. Therefore we kindly ask you not to smoke in the apartments. Tempering with or disabling smoke detectors and other safety devices may constitute a serious offense punishable by criminal law.
Please respect your neighbors by keeping the noise level down, and the surrounding of your apartment accommodation clean. We reserve the right of eviction with no refund in case there are repeated complaints from neighbors or if a police report is filed.

If we are unable to replicate the lower rate, we may request additional information and documentation (such as a screen shot) from you in order to verify the lower online rate.
